Thank you Susan for hosting Outdoor Wednesday. Be sure to visit her blog to find out who all is participating . http://asoutherndaydreamer.blogspot.com/
Yesterday, I showed you a cute little decorative rooster that I purchased on the way home from work. Today, I'm sharing the real deal. This guy lives in my backyard with his 19 girlfriends who keep us (and our family and friends) well supplied with eggs. Hence the blog name which I think translates The Little Chicken Farm. (The "kid" that you see is about a week old. She is sooo cute.)

Nina, they are so sweet! I have a lot of chicken accessories, but the real things are just lovely! And the little goat is a doll!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing. This was a fun post!
XO,
Sheila :-)
P.S. Some friends of my sister's in Charleston used to have a pet hen who lived in a wrought iron cage in their back yard, and jogged with the man. She also ate eggs from her high chair in the breakfast room each morning. LOL! ;-) Her name was Mary Hancock, but I think they called her Hencock! Long funny story there...
