What's On Your Wall Wednesday
Barb, Thanks for hosting this event. It's one of my very favorites. Be sure to visit Barb at gritsglamour.blogspot.com to find out who is participating in WOYWW!
My sweet hubby gave me these two Fitz and Floyd plates for two different occassions!! You can imagine how surprised I was when I unwrapped the second one. He forgot that he gave me the first one! BUT, I decided to keep them both and display them together in this pretty plateholder. I love the way they look, even though they are identical.

Here are two shots of the same wall. I wanted ya'll to see my sewing machine table as well as the picture on the wall, but the flash reflected in the glass, so I took the photo from another angle. This is what you see when you enter my sunroom from the garage. Can you see the roosters on the lampshade?

Cock a Doodle Doo Part II
Thank you Susan for hosting Outdoor Wednesday. Be sure to visit her blog to find out who all is participating . http://asoutherndaydreamer.blogspot.com/
Yesterday, I showed you a cute little decorative rooster that I purchased on the way home from work. Today, I'm sharing the real deal. This guy lives in my backyard with his 19 girlfriends who keep us (and our family and friends) well supplied with eggs. Hence the blog name which I think translates The Little Chicken Farm. (The "kid" that you see is about a week old. She is sooo cute.)

Cock a Doodle Doo
On the way home from school today, I stopped at Dollar General to purchase my favorite drink, Diet Coke. Quite by chance, I happened up on this litte fella and I fell in love with him. For a whopping $6.00 I bagged this specimen to add to my rooster collection. I stop there often for cleaning supplies, greeting cards, junk food, etc., and, occassionally, I find decorative items for my home. Today was one such occassion. He is much cuter up close and personal!

Wow, this blogging is really complicated for someone who is not computer savvy. I posted the pictures of brass sconces that my mom gave me and I wanted to ask for your opinions, but I couldn't figure out where to include the text. Anyway, I'm trying to decide whether or not to paint the brass or leave them in their original state. If I paint it will be either black or bronze. I've caught the spray paint bug and I've done a few other pieces, but I can't decide about these. Any thoughts?
